ISBA summer seminar 2026, Stuttgart, Germany.

This years seminar was joined by Rosalie Wahlfrid, Ana Marambio and Francisco Rodriguez from Tetsushinkan dojo as well as Bartek Skibinski and Irene Cena from Ishinkan dojo and Nico Berczely from East Sheen dojo. Teachers from Shiseikan dojo included Udagawa Kancho (head of Shiseikan), Aoiki sensei and Horikoshi sensei. They were joined by three Japanese students and Shiseikan student and administrator Tomoko Hoya-san.

The seminar was themed:

The Sword that kills

and

The sword that gives life.

During the seminar Rosalie and Bartek received certificates on behalf of Bastian Juel (Nidan) from Tetsushinkan dojo and Peter Robinson (Shodan) from Ishinkan dojo. We will hold separate ceremonies for them later on.

Spring 2026, Tetsushinkan Student Ana Marambio travelled to Japan with her familly, She visited Shiseikan and joined their regular classes.

Ana's words:

I trained at Shiseikan for almost a week with different Senseis, and I was fortunate to observe a lesson taught by Inaba Sensei. Everyone was welcoming, while at the same time maintaining a serious and thorough approach to the practice of Kashima Shinryu-Aikido. It was an honour to train there, and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn in such a wonderful environment, surrounded by such depth of knowledge and wisdom.

I hope there will be many more opportunities in the future to strengthen my relationship with Shiseikan Dojo and continue learning from its teachings and community, which Tetsushinkan is part of.
